Alas the newly dug deeper channel and the drainage seems to have somewhat ruined the wader pit, but you've got to break eggs etc etc.
A solitary drake Teal a Redshank and a first (for me anyway) in the area, an Oystercatcher, happily digging out worms for the waiting gulls was all worth reporting. Buzzard over. Litte Egrets as per usual in back brook. Also the first Treecreeper i've seen in the area for a couple of years.
A Muntjac also put in a brief appearance.
