Tues 23rd Feb - Morning

0c Cold, cloudy.

A pair of Mistle Thrush mixing with the ever growing Fieldfare and Redwing flock on the top field. A Kestrel over putting all to flight.
A dozen Pochard down on the lake while on the new spit nine Cormorant.
Over the river on Cosgrove lake a varied selection of wildfowl including Gadwall, Widgeon, Tufted Duck in small numbers a pair of Great Crested Grebes but as ever Coot dominate.
The usual mixture of Gulls with perhaps Common Gulls edging it in numbers of around fifty.
